Description

Hillside is a late 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered house, now faced in roughcast. It stands two storeys high and features a six-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The ground storey has three-light windows and a carriage entrance at the west end. There is a six-panel door with glazed panels, framed by a wood doorcase that includes pilasters and a cornice. The roof is slate, adorned with paired modillions at the eaves soffit. Hillside, along with the adjacent No 32 (Sunnybank), forms a group of buildings.
