Description

91 and 92 St John's Street is a house and shop, now functioning as a shop with living accommodation above. It dates from the early 19th century but shows evidence of a former 16th-century jettied facade. The building is timber-framed and plastered in panels, topped with a slate roof featuring gables and chimney stacks. It has three storeys and a cellar, with a two-window range consisting of sashes that have a single vertical glazing bar in flush cased frames. The ground storey features a late 20th-century shop front, and there is an extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
