Description

Waver House is an early 19th-century building with a red brick front that conceals an earlier timber-framed and plastered structure. It has two storeys and features a four-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars and plain reveals. One window on the first storey is blocked. The doorway, which is in a 20th-century style, complements the period of the building. The roof is covered with slate. The building has been modified to accommodate a restaurant at the southwest end. Waver House is part of a group of listed buildings on The Green.
