Description
The Rectory, also known as The Yews, is an early 19th century house with a white brick front that conceals a timber-framed and plastered structure dating from the 16th to 17th century. A wing extends from the rear of the building, which is set back from the street. The house has two storeys and features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars and plain reveals. The central entrance consists of a two-panel door with vertical round-headed panels, topped by a semi-circular fanlight with ornamental glazing. The roof is tiled, and the front of the property is enclosed by iron spearhead railings.
