Description

Nos 10 to 15 on The Street in Stoke by Clare are a terrace of early 20th-century houses constructed with timber framing and plaster. The houses feature slightly projecting gabled wings at both ends. There are six windows across the front, with casements that include glazing bars. The doorways are centrally located and have gabled porches with slate roofs. The roof is slate-covered and gabled at both ends, featuring four gabled dormers and three prominent chimney stacks with diagonal ends set on rectangular bases. This terrace significantly enhances the street scene and is noted for its group value with other listed buildings in The Street, including Green Farmhouse on The Green (Lower).
