Description

This is a chest-tomb located in the churchyard of Bury St Edmunds, dating from 1822. It is made of Portland stone and commemorates Rebecca Prigg, who died in 1836, Maria Prigg, who died in 1822, William Prigg (son), Rupert Prigg, and Ann Maria, his wife. The information is based on a survey of monuments in the Great Churchyard conducted around 1960 by West Suffolk County Council.
