Description
The stable, built in the 18th century, is located 40 metres north-west of Broomvale House. It features a timber-framed structure that is weatherboarded, topped with a pantiled roof adorned with ridge tiles that alternate between trefoils and fleurs-de-lys. The walls exhibit straight primary bracing and incorporate much heavy oak timber that has been reused from an earlier building. Each gable has a pitching door leading into a hayloft above the end bays, and there are various stable doors on the south and west sides.
