Description
Shelland Hall is a former farmhouse and manor house, likely dating from the 17th century. It is two storeys high with five windows and is probably of cross-entry form, featuring a service wing that projects to the rear right. The building is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a plaintiled hipped roof, although some slopes have been renewed with concrete plaintiles. There is an axial 17th-century chimney made of red brick in both ranges. The windows are mainly early 20th-century cross-casements with leaded glazing, along with some 19th-century small-pane sashes on the first storey. The entrance door, which is battened and boarded, is likely located at the cross-entry position and is sheltered by a flat canopy supported on brackets. The interior has not been examined.
