Description

Street Farmhouse, dating to the late 16th and early 17th centuries, was altered in the mid-19th century. The farmhouse is timber-framed with a mid-19th century white brick facade, featuring four pilaster strips. The remainder of the building is largely plastered. The roof is pantiled, with glazed black tiles at the front. The farmhouse has two storeys and an attic, with three windows featuring 19th-century mullion and transom casements with large panes, set within flat stucco arches with raised keys. A central gabled porch has Ionic pilasters, a pediment, and an elliptical entrance arch. It contains a six-panel door, with the top four panels glazed, and a pediment above. A white brick gable stack is located to the right. A service wing to the rear has been altered following a fire in the late 19th century. The interior is Victorianized, with very little of the original structure remaining visible.
