Description

Bell House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a roof made of glazed black pantiles. The building has two storeys and an L-shaped plan, with the entrance facade facing south. There are three windows that have original mullion and transom casements set beneath flat brick arches. The central doorway is adorned with a six-panel door, where the upper two panels are glazed, and it is framed by a moulded architrave, frieze, and a triangular pediment. The eaves cornice is made of wooden modillions. There is also a two-bay return that faces The Street.
