Description

Whissels Farmhouse is a farmhouse, likely from the 16th or early 17th century. It has one storey and attics, featuring a three-cell lobby-entrance plan. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof. There is a central chimney made of red brick dating from the 16th or 17th century, along with a 19th-century internal end chimney on the right. The windows are 19th or early 20th-century three-light small-pane casements with transoms. The lobby entrance has a 20th-century boarded door and an open gabled porch supported by posts. The interior has not been examined.
