Description
This building is a cottage located approximately 30 meters west-southwest of The Willows. It dates from the late 16th century or early 17th century and was later extended in the 19th century. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof. It has a two-cell lobby entrance plan and consists of one storey with an attic. The entrance is positioned to the left of center, with flanking three-light glazing bar casements and a two-light casement above to the right. There is a second part-glazed door to the right. A ridge stack is located to the left of center, and the roof is hipped at the left end, which features an attic window and a 19th-century pantiled lean-to outshut. The right gable reveals exposed plates and purlins, with a shaped bracket at the rear and a 19th-century external stack. The interior has not been inspected.
