Description
Abbot's Hall Fishing Lodge is a fishing lodge located on an island in the middle of a fish pond to the south-west of Abbot's Hall. It was built in the mid-18th century and features new windows, doors, a fireplace, and panelling added around 1800. The lodge is constructed of red brick and has a plain tile roof with a square plan. There is a half-glazed door on the east side that includes glazing bars. The other three sides originally had sash windows, but the west side is now blocked. The remaining two sides have irregular glazing bars that create margin glazing. The eaves cornice is dentilated, and the lodge is topped with a pyramid roof. Inside, there is large-framed panelling.
