Description
Nos. 191 and 192 on Gull Lane are houses that were originally constructed in the 17th century and later altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. They are built with a timber frame and have a plastered exterior, topped with a thatched roof. The layout appears to follow a two-cell lobby entry plan and consists of one storey with an attic.
The central entrance features a 20th-century gabled porch that includes a half-glazed door. On either side of the entrance are part-opening, three-light glazing bar casements with hoodboards. The house has a central axial ridge stack that has been rebuilt. The left end has casements with a glazed outshut, exposed plates, and double purlins, along with an entrance to a lean-to outshut at the rear, which likely dates from the 19th or 20th century. The right end has pentice boards, exposed plates, and single purlins. The interior has not been inspected.
