Description
The Villa is a house with an 18th century core that was extended and refronted in the early to mid-19th century. The original structure is timber framed, while the later additions are made of brick. The facade is finished in white brick and features paired bracketed eaves cornice and a hipped slated roof, with plain tiles and pantiles at the rear. The house is two storeys high and has four sash windows with glazing bars arranged in a 1:3 pattern; the two windows on the left are older and set in flush frames, while those on the right are inset with flat stuccoed arches. The entrance includes a six-panel raised and fielded door with panelled reveals, flanked by French windows on each side. There is an axial stack made of white brick. The core of the house continues the architectural style of St. Helen's nearby.
