Description

This is a former farmhouse, dating to the early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, now plastered, and has a thatched roof. A carved tie beam projects from the right gable end. The house originally had a two-cell plan, and is two storeys high with two windows on the front elevation. These windows are old 3-light casements with a single horizontal glazing bar to each light. A small upper window is located below the central stack. In the mid-20th century, standard casements were installed on the ground floor. The central stack has a rebuilt shaft made of red brick. A doorway is located at the rear of the property. The interior has not been examined.
