Description

Prospect House is a house dating from around 1800, with a likely earlier core. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped plain-tiled roof with an axial chimney made of red brick, along with flat-roofed sash window dormers. The building has two storeys and attics, with a three-window range on the main elevation, where the left-hand bay has blind windows. The original windows have flat arches made of gauged brick, flush frames, and small-pane sashes. On the return elevation facing Coddenham Road, there are a pair of 19th-century splayed flat-roofed bay windows. The entrance features a six-panelled door with panelled reveals, and is flanked by engaged Tuscan columns topped with a cornice enriched with mutules.
