Description
Rattlesden Hall is a former farmhouse and manor house, likely dating from the 17th century. The building has two storeys and three windows. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure. On the left side, there is a parapet-gable, with the main section constructed of narrow 17th-century red bricks, while the upper part is made of 19th-century brickwork that combines gault and red bricks. The parapets display tumbled-in brickwork and include a chimney. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has an axial chimney made of red brick. The windows are 19th-century small-pane casements, some of which have transoms. The entrance door, which is panelled and features an architrave and canopy, dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. At the rear, there is a two-storey service wing that is from the 17th century or earlier. The interior has not been examined.
