Description
Church Farmhouse is a former farmhouse dating from the 16th century, consisting of a two-cell range with a slightly lower addition from the 17th century to the left. In front of this addition is a small gabled wing, likely a porch, which features a gable with the date 1682 and the initials 'GH' in painted plasterwork. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a roof covered in mid-20th century concrete plain tiles. It stands two storeys high with attics. The windows are mostly mid-20th century casements with large square-leaded panes, while the main range includes a mullioned first-floor window, which may be original. On the far left, there is a mid-20th century lean-to open porch and door. The main range has an internal stack with a rebuilt shaft, as well as a later stack on the external left gable end. The interior has not been examined.
