Description
Woodlands Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in two stages. The hall and service cell on the right likely date from the 16th century, while the parlour block on the left was added in the early 17th century. The building has one storey and attics, as well as two storeys and an attic, featuring a three-cell plan with a lobby entrance. It is timber-framed and plastered, with the lower range having a pantiled roof that was probably once thatched. The parlour block has a plaintiled roof with an axial chimney made of red brick that includes a central pilaster. The lower range features mid-20th century flat-roofed casement dormers and small-pane casements. There is a boarded 20th-century door at the lobby entrance, and a 17th-century ovolo-mullioned window is located at the rear. A rear range from the mid-20th century is not of special interest.
