Description

The Midge is a house that may date from the late 17th century. It has a timber frame with plastered sides and gable ends made of 19th-century brick. The roof is thatched and the building is 1½ storeys high, featuring a small two-cell layout. The windows are 20th-century, consisting of small-paned casements with two lights. There are two matching boarded doors that have moulded cover battens and surrounds. A central stack has a mid-20th-century chimney shaft. The interior has not been examined.
