Description
The churchyard cross, located 6 meters south of the Church of St John, dates from the 15th or early 16th century and was restored in the mid-19th century. It is made of limestone. The cross features a square offset plinth from the 19th century. The base is medieval, measuring 0.8 meters square and 0.5 meters high, with buttresses at each corner that have traceried sunk panels. Each side of the base has a sunk quatrefoil with a fleur de lys above it. The shaft is tapering and octagonal, standing about 2.5 meters high. At the top, there is a tabernacle with a pyramidal roof that has four gables, one of which contains a niche with a carved scene of the crucifixion.
