Description
Broadway House is a house located on Debenham High Street, with an early 17th century core and a mid-18th century facade. The building is timber framed, roughcast-rendered, and has a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features a three-bay facade that includes 16-paned sash windows. The central doorway is framed by a Doric doorcase with reeded pilasters, a triglyph frieze, and a segmental pediment adorned with mutules. The door itself is a six-panel design, with the upper two panels glazed. There is a central gabled dormer that contains a two-light casement window. At the rear, there is a gabled wing that features some old panelled plasterwork. The interior has not been examined.
