Description

This outbuilding, located 15 metres north of Hill Top Farmhouse, is possibly a detached dairy dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a thatched clasped-purlin roof. The building features boarded doors and arch-braced close-studwork. It consists of three bays, with the western bay previously separated by a closed truss, of which only the tie-beam remains. The main room includes a central arch-braced open truss.
