Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of three grey gault brick houses, located on the west side of High Street. The terrace has two storeys, attics, and basements, and originally had a six-window range. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals. The central two-window section projects slightly and is topped with a pediment constructed of gauged white brick, with flat, white brick arches above the windows. A six-panel door with a fanlight is approached by steps. The roof is slate-covered, with two gabled dormers and a single window within the pediment. Numbers 21 to 39 (odd) along with the Ipswich Museum, numbers 28 to 70 (even), and the Brethren Meeting Room form a group of buildings.
