Description
21 Westgate Street is an early 19th-century building with a brick front that has been painted. It stands three storeys tall, featuring a five-window arrangement on the second storey and a three-window arrangement on the first storey. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in plain reveals. The first storey windows are three-light, adorned with stucco pilasters and cornices. The central section of the building, which has one window range, projects slightly forward. A raised band runs between the storeys. The ground storey has been altered to accommodate 20th-century shops, and the roof is covered with 20th-century pantiles in a mansard style.
