GAINSBOROUGH LANE Pond Hall

II A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house with an L shaped plan with a cross wing. The upper storeys are jettied. On the south front the ground storey has been built out in brick with buttresses. The upper storey on the west side has exposed timber-framing. The windows are mainly 2-light casements with glazing bars. Roofs tiles. The interior is said to incorporate an earlier frame and has exposed beams.
