Description

The Chapel to Ipswich School is a red brick building with stone dressings, constructed in 1852 according to the designs of Mr. Fleury, an Ipswich architect. It is positioned at right angles to the main buildings of Ipswich School at the northern end. The chapel features a gabled east end with a panel traceried window and a gabled transept on the south side that includes a circular light in the gable. The roof is covered with slate. Ipswich School and the chapel are recognized as a group.
