Description
Rogue's Cottage is a house dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is timber framed with a colourwashed render and a thatched roof. The building is a single storey with an attic. The front of the house features a doorway at the far right, which is approached by two steps and has a 19th-century plank door. To the left of the door are four 2-light casement windows, some of which are from the 20th century and have metal frames. There are two eyebrow dormers in the attic, each with 2 lights. An axial stack with two flues is located at the ridge on the right side of the house. The roof has half-hipped ends. The right-hand end includes a 2-light 20th-century window on the ground floor and a similar window on the first floor, along with a 20th-century extension to the right. The left gable end has a 2-light 19th-century casement window on the ground floor and two 2-light casement windows on the first floor. At the rear, there is random fenestration on the right, including a 19th-century ground floor canted oriel window supported on a moulded bracket, with a doorway to its left. To the far left is a projecting 20th-century wing. The interior has not been inspected.
