Description

The dovecote at Home Farm is a 19th-century structure built from rubble flint with brick dressings and rendered brick, topped with a plaintile roof. It has a square plan and stands two storeys tall. The lower storey features round arches on all four sides, with brick quoins and voussoirs, as well as brick quoins at the corners. The walling steps back to the first floor, which has openings on the road front and rear. The roof is pyramidal and somewhat dilapidated, with a central square vent that is also in poor condition. Inside, there are square wooden squab boxes remaining on the lower walls at first floor level.
