Description
Pettistree Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and flint rubble, finished with colourwashed render, and features a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and a T-shaped plan.
The entrance front has three bays arranged symmetrically. The central doorway includes a segmental fanlight and a six-panel door. On either side at ground floor level, there are tripartite windows with decorative lattice glazing bars in the central lights and louvred shutters. A band at sill level extends to the sides of the building. The first floor features three similar, smaller tripartite windows. The roof is hipped.
On the left side, there is one bay with matching ground and first floor windows. At the rear, there is a projecting central gabled wing made of rubble flint with brick quoins.
