Description
5 and 6 Bartholomew Green are a pair of houses built around 1835, with later alterations and an extension. They are constructed of red brick and feature a slate roof with brick end stacks.
The exterior consists of a two-storey front with three windows, and a one-window extension at the left end. The central doors are paired and located under stuccoed pediments supported by consoles, with canted bay windows on both sides. Number 5 has a 20th-century door and uPVC windows on both floors. Number 6 features a four-panel door, and the ground floor has horned sash windows with glazing bars arranged in a pattern of 0/0, 2/2, 0/0, while the first floor has a 2/2 horned sash window. The centre window on the first floor is blind, and all first-floor windows have gauged skewback arches. The interior has not been inspected.
