Description
St Davids is a mid-19th century house located on the east side of High Street in Lowestoft. It is constructed from gault brick and features a roof made of black-glazed pantiles. The building has three storeys and a dormer attic, arranged in two bays. To the left, there is a door with four fielded panels and a plain overlight, set within a timber doorcase that has moulded consoles beneath coving. This same door surround also includes the alley door to No. 36. The windows are 2/2 sashes, positioned under rendered skewback arches. A dentil and modillion eaves cornice is present beneath the gabled roof, which has a central gabled dormer fitted with glazed sides and a 2/2 horned sash window. An internal gable-end stack is located on the south side. At the rear, there is a three-storey cross wing topped with a Mansard slate roof. The first floor of the east gable is illuminated by a tripartite sash window with glazing bars, while the upper floor features a late 20th-century window.
