Description

Nos 49 and 49A on Thoroughfare is a 17th-century, two-storey building that features a timber frame lined with stucco to resemble ashlar. The roof is covered with pantiles. The building has three-light mullion transom casements and two doorcases with architraves leading to four-panel doors. There are two mid-19th century shop fronts, one on each side, which include pilasters, consoles, and cornices. The central section has a modern front.
