Nos 17 and 17A on High Street are a 16th-century, three-storey building that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with alterations from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The building has a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars. The first-floor windows are highlighted by wide stucco surrounds and moulded heads. The ground floor has a modern shop front. The roofs are covered with red plain tiles and grey slate.
