Description

The Moorings and The Old Malting House comprise a building dating from the early 19th century, located at 43 and 43A Cumberland Street. The building is constructed of red brick and features a cornice with widely spaced brackets. The facade has three windows with glazing bars, flush frames, and flat arches. The roof is tiled. A modern front has been added to the left side, incorporating an entrance. A two-storey wing, known as The Old Malting House, incorporates a six-panel door and an arched window with radially arranged glazing at the head. This wing returns into Kingston Road.
