Description
Dolphin House is a house built in 1926 by Oliver Hill. It is constructed of grey brick and features a roof made of black-glazed pantiles with a central battered stack. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of two storeys and an attic.
The main facade is highlighted by a full-height central gable. On the ground floor, there are two mid-20th century plate-glass windows, while the first floor has three 2-light transomed casements. To the right and left of the gable on the ground floor are doorways. The south-east and north-west gable ends are intricately shaped with four tiers of ovolo curves, which are marked by deep tumbling. Each gable has two 2-light cross casements on the first floor, although the north-west gable's windows have been blocked to accommodate the addition of a single-storey utility building. Each gable also features one similar attic window, and the south-east gable is marked with the date 1926. The interior has not been inspected.
