Description

Gordon House, located at 8 Cumberland Street, was built in 1852, with indications of a 17th-century timber-framed structure at the rear. This two-storey building features an attic and a central dormer. It is constructed of red brick and includes a band and plinth. Notable architectural details include an enriched cove plaster cornice, a six-panel fielded door with an architrave, panelled pilasters, carved consoles, and a frieze adorned with carved heads and swags, topped with a dentil pediment.
