Description

The building at 16 and 18 Cumberland Street dates to the early 18th century. It is a two-storey and attic structure with gable-end windows, originally timber-framed and now stuccoed, with lined and painted decoration. A rendered plinth is present, and the roof is tiled. The front elevation features three windows, with casements containing glazing bars. One window is a modern sash, located on the ground floor. Number 16 has a modern four-panel door with wood casings, and Number 18 a modern bolection-moulded door, also with wood casings. The properties form a group with numbers 10 to 18 (even).
