Description
Deben Lodge is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century. It has a double front with two windows, which were later extended to the right with two matching windows. The building features colour washed brick, a slate roof, and coped gables. The original part of the house has red brick stacks on the former gables. It is two storeys high and includes dormers. The sash windows are set in flush frames and have glazing bars. There is a platband on the original house, and the first-floor windows have stucco heads with keys. The house also has two 20th-century dormer windows, which are two- and three-light casements with glazing bars. A prominent 19th-century portico with a plain canopy is supported by modified Doric columns and pilasters, featuring a half gabled panelled door. To the right, there is a 20th-century window, garage opening, and door.
