Description

Ferndale Cottage is a house that has been converted into a shop and flat. It dates from the early 19th century and was converted in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of red brick, with the right side rendered, and features a hipped roof made of black-glazed pantiles, topped with two brick chimneys.

The exterior is two stories high and has a two-window front. There is a half-glazed door on the right side, and to the left, there is an 8/8 unhorned sash window set within a flush frame and beneath a gauged skewback arch. On the first floor, there is one 8/8 unhorned sash window and one 6/6 unhorned sash window. The building is finished with a dentil eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
