Description

No. 20, High Street is a house dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and late 20th century. The exterior is of rendered and whitewashed brick, with a pantile roof and a transverse brick ridge stack. The front is a two-storey, one-window facade. A central plank door was added in the late 20th century. To the left of the door is an 8/8 horned sash window, and to the right is a 6/6 unhorned sash window, both with segmental arches above. The first floor has a centrally-placed 6/6 unhorned sash window. The rear of the property shows evidence of 17th-century brickwork on the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
