Description
Nos 20 and 22 St Mary's Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two stories tall with an attic. They feature two casement dormers and are constructed of red brick, with a brown brick two-story wing on the left side. This wing has a wide vehicle way underneath and a first-floor sash window with glazing bars and a flush frame. Number 20 has a wooden shallow canted splay bay at the first floor, which includes central glazing bars and a cornice. Number 22 has a modern splayed shop front and two flush frame sash windows at the first floor, both with glazing bars and cambered heads. Additionally, there is an early 19th-century wooden shop front with pilasters. Nos 6 to 22 (even) form a group.
