Description
Church Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse with later additions, located in South Cove. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a roof made of glazed black pantiles. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and has a three-cell layout. The facade includes two sash windows with glazing bars set in flush frames. There is a lobby entrance, with the entrance bay slightly projecting forward; however, the original door has been replaced by a sash window, which retains part of the original architrave, frieze, and cornice above. A brick dentil eaves cornice adds detail to the roofline. Inside, there are two internal stacks. To the right, there is a later wing that is set forward and features a three-light splayed sash bay and a mid-20th century glazed entrance door. The left gable end of the main range displays three brick bands. At the rear of the building, there is a Union fire insurance mark.
