Description
Hill House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century on the east side and early 19th century on the west side. It is constructed of white brick and has a roof made of modern concrete pantiles. The building is two storeys high with a symmetrical west facade featuring a three-window range. The windows are sashes with glazing bars set in cased frames, and there are flat brick arches above them. Two of the first-floor windows have blind boxes. The central doorway is set within a semi-circular headed inset panel and is approached by a flight of three steps. The door is a six-panel design with raised and fielded panels, topped by a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. The roof is hipped with wide overhanging eaves. The east range has small pane casement windows. Between the two main ranges on the south side, there is a mid-19th century lean-to extension made of red brick and faced with white brick.
