Description

Garden Cottage is an early 17th century house that features a timber frame with plastered walls and brick ends and plinth. The building has two storeys and generally has 20th century casement windows, although some original casements are still present, with lattice leaded lights. The south side of the cottage showcases notable pargetting, including a central elliptical wreath design with different patterns in each quarter, separated by tied laurel leaves. Additionally, there is a band of running vine ornament at the first floor level. The doors are made of planks, and the roof is covered with pantiles.
