Description

This barn, located 20 meters southwest of Heath Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed from timber framing and is covered in weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated iron roof. Originally, the barn had four bays but was later extended by two additional bays to the west, with the new section featuring a first floor. There is a cart entrance located in the second bay from the east, which includes a full-height porch on the south side. The barn has a clasped purlin roof with wind bracing, and the extension includes an additional lower row of butt purlins. The trusses of the barn still display their arched braces.
