Description

Forge House is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with later extensions added to the north. It is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, originally featuring paneling, and has a roof covered with modern concrete plain tiles. The building has two storeys and a main range to the south, designed with a two-cell plan and an internal stack. To the north, there is a twin-gabled extension from the 18th century, along with a single-storey addition from the 20th century. The windows and door were updated in the mid-20th century.
