Description

Fir Tree Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th century, with the eastern section being a much later rebuilding or extension. It features a timber frame with plaster and a thatched roof. The cottage is a single storey with an attic, and it has two notable 17th-century casement windows that retain their original diamond leaded glass. The other windows and the door were added in the mid-20th century. There are two gabled dormers, one at the front and one at the rear, along with a 19th-century external stack on the west gable. The interior has been modernised.
