Description
This is a row of four cottages located 50 meters southwest of the Almshouses in Peasenhall, dating from the 16th to 17th century, with the right end being a later addition. The cottages are timber framed with roughcast render and plastered gable ends. The front features modern double Roman tiles, while the rear has pantiles. They are two stories high with attics and have five windows, which include 19th and 20th century three-light and four-light casements. There are one boarded door and three panelled doors, with the left-hand doorway adorned with narrow pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. Additionally, there is one flat-roofed dormer. Inside, there is a heavy internal stack on the left side and two smaller stacks, one internal and one on the right gable end.
